Department of Veterans Services (DVS)

Veterans who want to get disability benefits from the VA are represented by DVS. We assist both veterans with post-service and non-service-connected disabilities as well as those whose illnesses or injuries developed or worsened while they were in the military.

New York State Office for the Aging’s (NYSOFA)

Helping Hands also offers assistance with duties including opening mail, doing paperwork, running errands, and keeping appointments for medical care.
